‘Prince Charming’, a title given to the French prince for his looks, had finally been bound in marriage with Cinderella, a commoner born in the outskirts of the château. Cinderella, under the rain of petals thrown by her ‘pet rats’, donned a light blue satin dress and a pure white veil, her feet covered with the once most coveted slippers – the glass slippers.
Prince Charming first met Cinderella in a welcome ball organised by the Grand Duke under the orders of the King. Every eligible maiden nearby was invited to the ball, with the intention of finding a suitable wife for Prince Charming. Prince Charming claimed that he was unimpressed by both the maidens and his father’s attempts in matching him up, until he saw a dazzling young woman wandering alone in the ballroom. That was Cinderella.
Prince Charming then began to court Cinderella, and they danced, spent time together and gazed at each other’s eyes until nightfall. However, Cinderella suddenly fled the castle as the clock struck midnight. Several castle guards reported that Cinderella had looked haggard and distressed, wearing only one slipper, and had run towards the direction of the forest alone. Subsequently, Cinderella’s other slipper was taken by Prince Charming.

Days after, Prince Charming ordered the kingdom to find the owner of these slippers by making every single potential bachelorette try on the slipper he had procured. He was determined to marry the person whose foot fit perfectly into the slipper. The glass slippers made history then, becoming one of the hottest topics throughout the course of the day.
At sundown, the castle troops arrived at Cinderella’s residence. Cinderella lived with her two stepsisters and her stepmother. Her two stepsisters, Drizella and Anastasia, eagerly tried the slipper on, but were left disappointed. Afterwards, Cinderella tried it on, and it had fit perfectly, clearing any doubts that she indeed was the woman Prince Charming had fallen in love with. Prince Charming immediately invited Cinderella into the castle for marriage, and they lived happily ever after.

In an interview with Cinderella, Cinderella shared that her stepfamily had mistreated her ever since her father died in an accident. She was constantly bombarded by a sea of chores and waves of criticism and hatred, not to mention the shipwreck-like state of the room she was forced to sleep in. The kingdom law enforcers, however, could not find concrete evidence of Lady Tremaine and her daughters’ abuse towards Cinderella, so they were saved from walking the plank.
She had also admitted that she had ‘friends’, which were two rats named Jaq and Gus, as well as several other birds and small critters. “She may have been under an insurmountable amount of stress such that she started talking to the animals around her – talking to inanimate objects (and animals) is a common consequence of neglect and emotional abuse.” a scholar that hailed from a distant kingdom had analysed. “Particularly, I am suspecting a case of dementia praecox, a condition that haunts its sufferers with delusions and hallucinations.”
Ostensibly, Jaq and Gus, in suits, had helped scatter flower petals for Cinderella’s wedding. But onlookers told our investigators that they had not seen such rats in the wedding. When Lady Tremaine was asked about Cinderella’s rat friends, she responded with, “She is delusional. I have never seen a fully clothed rat in my house before, let alone a talking one.” The château refused to comment on this.

Another bizarre statement that left Cinderall’s mouth as she was interviewed was about a character she called ‘Fairy Godmother’. “She was the one who made it possible for me to go to the ball, despite Drizella and Anastasia ripping my dress to shreds,” she spoke in remembrance. Using ‘magic’, Fairy Godmother allegedly dressed Cinderella up and provided her with a coach equipped with trained mules with only a flick of her wand.
Many scholars from all over the globe commented on Cinderella’s interview. The head of the world’s largest cathedral from a neighbouring château had raised concerns about how Cinderella’s descriptions were akin to the use of black magic. “Black magic is commonly used by devils of the underworld,” the pastor explained, albeit shakily. “I am afraid that Cinderella has walked the wrong path in her life and was tempted by the hellspawns into practicing black magic.”
On the other hand, a mathematician instead expressed his bafflement towards the fact that the glass slippers only fit Cinderella perfectly out of all several thousands, possibly hundred thousands, of bachelorettes. “The fact that Cinderella has a completely unique foot size still astounds me to this day,” the mathematician had said. “According to my calculations, it has nearly a one-billionth chance of happening, even less than a meteor striking our planet.”
Many questions still censor our knowledge about the nebulous blonde princess. Despite this, Prince Charming’s château flourished more than ever ever since Cinderella married into the Prince’s family. Currently, Prince Charming and Cinderella are in a honeymoon phase and are out of the country, happily spending their love fever under the tropical sun.
This article was published with the consent of Prince Charming’s royal family, and most importantly, Cinderella herself. This article has no intention of defaming Cinderella’s name, but to present an analysis of her behaviours and the event leading towards the mind-boggling marriage between her and Prince Charming.
